Gallery 4 Art are again fortunate to be invited to use the dramatic setting of the unique 15th Century, Grade I Listed Manor House to display their exhibition of original art contrasting the contemporary work of selected Wessex artists against the historic backdrop of Blackmore Farm.

Workshop Day - Saturday 1st March

SCULPTURE WORKSHOP WITH MELANIE DEEGAN - 10.30am to 5pm

A one day workshop to create a sculpture using wire, resin and mixed media. The workshop will include use of reference material for ideas, designing and building a wire armature, choice of materials and how to use the water-based acrylic resin. Sculptures will be mounted on a plaster base. The day will also cover how to develop ideas, using other materials, where to obtain supplies and finishing techniques. Cost: ã60 for the day. VELVET SCARF & FELT DECORATION WORKSHOP WITH SARAH MEIKLE - 10.30am to 5pm

This exciting workshop guides you through working with a range of colourful dyes to create a sumptuous velvet scarf length, then adding decoration using felting techniques and other fabrics.
