Rebecca Webber - Mixed Media
I study Art, Textiles and Photography at Queens College in Taunton and enrolling at Falmouth to study Fashion design in September. As a very young artist my work varies. Most of my pieces are based in textiles area yet I also enjoy botanical drawing and manipulating my own pictures on photo shop.
I gain inspiration from nature and wildlife around me. My dad a beekeeper and my mother an enthusiastic gardener has provided great material to work with in my most recent ideas.
I particularly enjoy making mixed media surfaces from book pages and creating colourful glue sculptures and also experimenting with trapping bugs into resin moulds in the shape of chocolates.
